Professional Certifications
The UGA Center for Urban Agriculture offers three distinct professional development paths: the Georgia Certified Landscape Professional (GCLP) program for comprehensive landscape expertise, the Georgia Certified Plant Professional (GCPP) program for specialized plant knowledge, and the SuperCrew training series for essential team member skill development.
A comprehensive certification program that validates mastery of both technical knowledge and hands-on skills across twelve essential areas of landscape professional practice.

A specialized certification focused on plant expertise, testing both theoretical knowledge and the ability to identify 100 different plant specimens.

A flexible, industry-endorsed training series that equips landscape team members with essential skills across safety, installation, maintenance, and specialized landscape practices.

Certificate Program
The Journeyman Farmer Certificate Program is focused on those interested in starting a farm business or those who have recently begun farming and want to improve their operation. Participants receive a certificate upon completing the courses and passing a knowledge evaluation.
The Journeyman Farmer Certificate Program offers comprehensive training for beginning farmers, covering small farm business planning, production (small fruit and vegetable or small ruminant), and, in some cases, hands-on experience through internships or mentorships.
