The Journeyman Farmer Certificate Program, developed by UGA Extension and partners, offers comprehensive training for beginning farmers, covering small farm business planning, production (small fruit and vegetable or small ruminant), and, in some cases, hands-on experience through internships or mentorships. Participants receive a certificate upon completing the courses and passing a knowledge evaluation.
