The Georgia Certified Plant Professional certification validates expertise in plant identification and horticultural knowledge. The certification consists of two comprehensive examinations designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical plant identification skills.
Certification Requirements
Written Exam (90 minutes)
- 100 multiple-choice questions
- Passing score: 70 correct answers
- Based on provided study manual content
Plant Identification Exam (90 minutes)
- 100 plant specimens for identification
- Passing score: 70 correct identifications
- All possible specimens listed in study manual

Certification Process
1) Register
Registration package includes:

3) Complete Examinations
- Both components must be passed within one year
- Partial passes are retained for one year
